  1. How will you track student behavior and class performance? Will you use some kind of school wide program?

    1. Each week I will have a brief conference with each child’s teacher(s) to create anecdotal records. I may also have teachers rank the students' performance and behavior on a scale, possibly from 1-5. I intend to keep up with their progress weekly and log it into either a data notebook or an electronic tracking spreadsheet. Due to teachers’ busy schedules and conflicts, I may also email teachers in order to monitor and track students’ progress. In order to gain insight into the actual mentoring program, I will also try to meet with students and mentors individually to gain their perspectives into how the program is working and to seek out any concerns they may have.
